Brief

Generate a two-colour book template for a rather large collection of small articles and other content, intended to serve a reference for the urban planning community. The cover also needed to be simple and ‘manualesque’ to support this.

Solution

Work to a large format to fit all content. Allow for content of mixed (or unknown) length. Generate single-colour, grungy cover template to be foil embossed on a thick, durable cardstock. The large format also allows for a fantastic juxtaposition between the fine grain typographic content and full-bleed photos!
