I’ve been involved with the Canadian Cinema Editors since 2011. First a poster for a film screening, then a program for their annual awards gala, then a total rebrand. Since then I’ve been generating the print material for the annual awards night: a 24-page program, stage banner, tent-cards, and the nominee certificates.

The awards program and certificates evolve slightly each year, but generally serve as a sort of unified collection, from 2012 of course. The 2011 program was the first I had worked on, was printed in black and white with a full-colour cover, and obviously preceded the logo redesign, so I opted to style it after the venue where the awards night would be held; The Captiol Event Theatre in Toronto, a venue built in 1918.
